What is Africa Pickleball Day?
Africa Pickleball Day is a day dedicated to celebrating the sport of Pickleball, which promotes physical health, mental well-being, and community engagement for people of all ages and abilities. This day is an opportunity to showcase the sport’s benefits, including physical fitness, social interaction, and the development of strategic thinking.
How Can You Participate?
We invite all members of the Pickleball community in Africa—players, coaches,referees, volunteers, and supporters—to join in the celebration.
Here are some ways you can participate:
1. Organize and take part in local events, tournaments, and clinics.
2. Host social gatherings to share the joy of Pickleball with friends and family.
3.Share your celebrations on social media using the hashtag #AfricaPickleballDay.

Africa Pickleball Day At GPC
To kick off the first ever Africa Pickleball Day we decided to host our own party to celebrate! The best way to celebrate is by getting everyone together to play pickleball! From the moment we found out the date we started planning a great event! We wanted food, prizes, and vendors and of course pickleball! Our first Africa Pickleball Day was a huge success with over 50 people who came through to celebrate with us! GPC is the perfect location for celebrations, parties, or events of any kind as we can offer four premium pickleball courts with a great restaurant on the same property! We are so excited to see Pickleball grow in South Africa as well as the rest of Africa! Pickleball is a sport that fosters such amazing community and connections. We think pickleball can be something that will continue bringing people together for the love of the game as well! As this sport continues to grow and and expand it will continue to benefit more and more people.
